Summery Neutral Kitchen
I seriously cannot believe that it’s already June! Time sure is flying. The other day, I took a few minutes to clear my kitchen counters and immediately felt relief! I love clean counter tops, so I figured I should grab my camera and snap a few pictures. ;)

My faucet shown above is touchless. You just keep the lever in the open position and then when you wave your hand in front of it, the water will turn on for 60 seconds. If you wave your hand in front of it again, it’ll turn off. Also, my favorite part is that when you pull the sprayer head down, the water automatically turns on and when you put it back into its resting place it turns off. Does your faucet do that? Maybe most of them do, but my old one did NOT, so I am pretty entertained by this thing! Haha!
The water faucet next to it is from the company we use for our water softener and whole home purifying system with reverse osmosis for the drinking tap. I am constantly refilling my YETI and always use it for cooking.
I think this is the first time I’ve actually photographed the whole kitchen with the new brass hardware installed. It seems like there’s always some project going on around here still, so it’s kind of rare to feel “photograph ready”!
A pineapple makes such a cute accent, doesn’t it? It felt very summery to me.
I really hate to bring this up in case you hadn’t noticed…but the cane backing I was going to buy? Well, I haven’t bought it yet. Apparently, the one that I found online was out of stock and I had to start my search all over again! I guess I better just make a decision so the left cabinet doesn’t have holes in the doors anymore.
How do you add “summer” to your kitchen? Are you as simple as me and call it a day with a pineapple and bowl of fruit? Or do you go all out? I’d love to hear in the comments below!
